How to get more traffic to my website?
A question many people would “kill” for. 
Searching on the internet I found various websites that will “help” you ( or not ). They just want to make traffic. The real key behind 1000’s of visitors per day is:
- a good design
- an original content
- clean and easy language
- get some sites linking back to yours! Attention! Just contact the site owner and talk about link exchange. If he accepts than you can publish.
- A good SEO ( Search Engine Optimization )
- and the last thing that Google recommends - DON’T BE EVIL
Ok. I see I have some people accusing me that I posted this article as a tutorial on http://www.tutorialized.com just for more traffic.
First to explain what was this article about than I’ll try to change it to something similar to a tutorial.
It was a simple guide line for beginners! We all hate to read thousands of words just to get a simple idea from an article / tutorial etc.
Here are the main steps in creating a good and productive website for beginners! I just toked out the examples, the arguments and listed the steps.
Getting back to the tutorial.
1) First of all a good design
The design problem is ever controversy. Why ? Because we all have in mind the final project, I posted a funny picture to show you the projects steps here.
What I recommend is a clean design, no more than 3 colors. If you don’t know what colors to use you can find color matching websites like http://www.colormatch.dk/ or http://www.hypergurl.com/colormatch.php
The logo, I have an article on this in my tutorial section, or more simple here.
2) An original content
The problem here is search engines appreciate more the original content, than news / articles just copied. So if your goal is to have an original website, that you may have to work harder. At the end it’s all worth it.
3) Clean and easy language
You don’t want to use heavy words or long phrase. Just keep it simple and you’ll be fine.
4) Get some sites linking back to yours
Linkbuilding is very important for your page rank. Need to have some site’s linking back to your, thus the search engines can “measure” the importance of a website / web page.
5) A good SEO
SEO ( search engine optimization ) is a technique used by experts to attract targeted visitors. This is useful to get some new customers or new members on your website. Let your website be discovered by users using search engines.
There are several ways to get traffic to your page.
The secret behind many large websites is their traffic. Built up traffic and more traffic The idea is simple if you got a lot of visitors than you can promote your products or services.
Don’t get mad if you don’t make any money instantly from your website, an easy start means stability and longevity. So be patient and write articles, get some links back to you from other websites, sign up to large web directories and so on.
A vital thing that a website MUST have is a blog. Install a wordpress script on your server and go go go.
If you have a lot of articles than the search engines will index more pages from your website and potential clients will find you on Google, Yahoo, MSN etc.
The secret keyword for this is SEO ( search engine optimization ) can find a lot of free tools and software on the internet that will help you. Try AllScoop for your RSS and for directories just search google, yahoo, msn etc.
6) DON’T BE EVIL
Hehe here, well I don’t need to remind you the importance of respecting the fellow internet surfer. Don’t try to cheat your way up the top! The normal way is the better way and the only way to succes!

No this is not a tutorial. As you can see it’s a guideline that beginners can use to find their way to good healthy website. Plus it’s under Global PWD and Internet category!
